Executive Director

The board of the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an executive director in Grand County, Colorado. The executive director works with the organization’s members, board members, community leaders, and partners to further the mission of the chamber. This position requires superior leadership, business administration, communications and interpersonal skills to carry out our mission and lead the Chamber staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding marketing and public relations expertise including excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated successful track record in budgets, events, fundraising, and member services. Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of Chambers of Commerce is preferred. We are looking for the right person who will run the chamber with a high level of personal responsibility and optimism and demonstrate sound judgment and a deep commitment to the chamber and its mission.

Additional skills include experience with strategic planning, change management and proven leadership skills. We want to see your ability to set an inspiring vision and motivate others to reach ambitious goals in support of that vision.

Computer skills including Microsoft products, website updating through Contact Management System, Web Stats (analytics), email newsletter creation and distribution.

Salary commensurate with experience.
